I’m not as delighted as I feel I should be after finally wrapping up this term this morning. It’s probably because I went overboard celebrating on Friday right after my accounting final (shopping sure does wonders, especially when sales hit all the right spots!). As well as with all that went on this weekend (Christmas celebration, baptism at church), I’m satisfied with having a more silent, yet peaceful and relaxing Monday. The joy of no more studying, no more reading, no more memorizing and no more being a selfish and cranky hermit at home makes me happy. Hello Holidays!
When I think of how far I’ve come in my post secondary education though, I get a pleasurable adrenaline rush knowing that I only have TEN, yes, just 1-0 courses left until my practicum and a degree in my hands. What? I know right… it absolutely astonishes me that I will be graduating after three more terms.
Now that this first half of my 3rd year has finished, I have time to look forward and put the bigger picture of next term into perspective. There’s less than two months until I embark on my student exchange, and a massive to do list for me to tackle one by one.
Three Cheers to the closing of one chapter and an opening of another in my life.
Hip Hip Hooray!
